映画原作関連ニュース Kill Your Friends、ザ・スイッチ、ボヴァリー夫人

★ウィル・クラーク、ジェームズ・ワトキンス、Andy Mayson 、Mike RunagallはJohn Nivenのベストセラー「Kill Your Friends」を映画化予定、作者自身が脚色。

[内容]
Meet Steven Stelfox. London 1997: New Labour is sweeping into power and Britpop is at its zenith. A&R man Stelfox is slashing and burning his way through the music industry, fuelled by greed and inhuman quantities of cocaine, searching for the next hit record amid a relentless orgy of self-gratification. 【映画】ブライアン・Ｄ・ヤング、ジェフリー・アーチャーの「ゴッホは欺く」をリライト

9・11テロ前夜、英貴族ウェントワース家の女主人ヴィクトリアは、破産寸前の家計に悩んでいた。双子の妹アラベラに手紙を書いているところに賊が侵入し、首を切られて命を落す。犯人は左耳も切断し、著名な美術品蒐集家フェンストンに送った。一方崩落したビルから生還したフェストンの美術コンサルタント、アンナは、付きまとう男の影に怯えていた。

New Franchise Mediaはジェフリー・アーチャー（Jeffrey Archer)の小説「ゴッホは欺く（False Impression）」リライターとしてブライアン・Ｄ・ヤングを起用した模様。

New Franchiseは昨年アーチャーの10作品の権利を取得。
またThe Kennedy/Marshall Company は「ロシア皇帝の密約（A Matter of Honor）」の脚本家としてRichard Regen を起用しているんだとか。

【映画】「特捜部Ｑ ―檻の中の女―」が映画化へ

「特捜部Ｑ」未解決の重大事件を専門に扱うコペンハーゲン警察の新部署である。カール・マーク警部補は「Ｑ」の統率を命じられた。しかし、あてがわれた部屋は暗い地下室。部下はデンマーク語すら怪しいシリア系の変人アサドひとりのみ。上層部への不審を募らせるカールだが、仕事ですぐに結果を出さねばならない。自殺と片付けられていた女性議員失踪事件の再調査に着手すると、アサドの奇行にも助けられ、驚きの新事実が次々と明らかに…

ユッシ・エーズラ・オールスン（Jussi Adler-Olsen)のベストセラー「特捜部Ｑ　―檻の中の女―」が映画化、カンヌでプリセールスが開始されるという話。

「ミレニアム　ドラゴン・タトゥーの女 」のニコライ・アーセルとMikkel Norgaardが脚本、「メランコリア」のルイーズ・ヴェスが制作で10月から撮影開始予定。

「特捜部Ｑ」キジ殺しも含めて読んでるんですが、当然のことながら登場人物表を作ってないし(さすがに話は覚えてるけど　笑）。

【映画】ショーン・ビーンが「Devil’s Peak」に出演

南アフリカの作家Deon Meyer のサスペンス小説「Devil’s Peak」、「13 Hours」、「7 Days」3部作が映画化、ショーン・ビーンが主演する模様。

マルコム・コール、マイケル・マーフィ、Ofir Kedarが制作、Hersch Klaff、ロバート・リトル、Robert Figが制作総指揮。

撮影は9月から南アフリカで開始予定。

★オーストラリアの監督Justin Kurzelがジョン・ル・カレ（John le Carre）のスリラー「Our Kind of Traitor」を監督する模様。

「キルショット」、「ドライヴ」のホセイン・アミニが脚色、スティーヴン・コーンウェル、Simon Cornwellらが制作、テッサ・ロスと作者のル・カレが制作総指揮。

制作は秋から開始される予定。

★State Street PicturesとMMC Joule FilmsはHillary Jordanの小説「Mudbound」を映画化、Virgil Williamsが脚色する模様。

ジョージ・ティルマンとBob Teitel、Sally Jo Effenson らが制作。

作者のスパークスが Relativity のライアン・カヴァナー、ウィック・ゴッドフリー、マーティン・ボウエンと制作、タッカー・トゥーリーが制作総指揮。

何だかんだ言いつつニコラス・スパークスのこういうのは嫌いじゃないんだなあ(笑）。

【映画】アンディ・アンドルーズの「希望をはこぶ人」、映画化へ

身寄りを失って自暴自棄になる若者。気持ちのすれ違いから離婚の危機を迎えた夫婦。仕事もプライベートもうまくいかず、自分はなぜ幸せになれないのだろうと肩を落とすビジネスマン。最愛の息子に先立たれ、もはや生きる気力すらなくした老婦。他人を信じず、ただひたすら傲慢にふるまう事業家…
